Noah’s Ark CARES is a Singapore-based IPC-approved charity dedicated to the humane management, sterilisation, rescue and long-term care of street dogs and cats.
Since 2005, we have worked quietly but consistently to reduce unnecessary culling, support responsible stray population management, and provide a safe place for animals who have no place to call home.
Our work is grounded in compassion, responsibility and long-term commitment — as every animal regardless of its ownership status deserves the right to live its life in safety.
Our mission:
To protect and manage Singapore’s street animal population through sterilisation, rescue, creating public awareness about responsible pet owners and collaboration with other societies whenever possible for greater impact.
Noah's Ark CARES Celebrates 25 Years of Compassion at Charity Gala
On 3 July 2026, the Noah's Ark CARES Charity Dinner was successfully held at Tanglin Club, bringing together leaders from Singapore's philanthropic, business and family office communities in support of animal welfare.
For the past 25 years, Noah's Ark CARES has remained dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, sterilising and rehoming Singapore's community animals, while promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion towards all living beings. Through the unwavering efforts of its volunteers and supporters, the organisation has transformed the lives of thousands of animals and raised public awareness of animal welfare.
The event was graced by Minister of State Alvin Tan, whose presence underscored the importance of community partnerships in advancing meaningful social causes. He commended the work of Noah's Ark CARES and the collective efforts of volunteers, donors and supporters in building a more caring and compassionate society.
Special recognition goes to Ms Chew Gek Hiang, whose steadfast support and leadership over many years have been instrumental in the organisation's continued growth and impact. Her dedication has inspired countless individuals to contribute to the cause and has helped ensure that Noah's Ark CARES continues making a meaningful difference for vulnerable animals.
The evening featured inspiring performances, charity art donations and fundraising initiatives, reflecting the power of philanthropy, community and collaboration. As Noah's Ark CARES marks this important milestone, it continues its mission of giving every rescued animal a second chance and creating a kinder future for all.
